Media directories

The following pages give additional information about the media directories available for VI services media tasks in the Libraries. This information includes details of the formats supported and settings of the folder locations included in the directories.

The term 'media directory' is as described in Tutorial >Common media operations > Browsing the Library and finding media.

The following VI services media directories are available: VI Podcast, VI Radio, The Seeing Ear, TNAUK eText and TNAUK audio. These media directories' features and settings are described in this section.

Most media directories will work with the default settings. Some may require manual settings that are not possible to configure automatically during installation.

You need to specify these settings only once. Whenever you install or update to a new version of SpeakOn, the settings you specified previously are preserved.
